2K is hiring a Data Platform Engineer to design and evolve the core architectural foundation of its data ecosystem. The role focuses on building and optimizing Snowflake, Databricks, AWS S3 data lakes, Kafka or Kinesis streaming systems, Spark and PySpark applications, data-as-a-service features, access control, interoperability, and scalable distributed systems. It requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field and at least six years of experience in data platform or distributed systems engineering in high-volume environments, along with expertise in SQL, Python, Spark, AWS, Snowflake or Databricks, and Apache Airflow.
