Itineris is hiring a permanent Data Platform Engineer in Hyderabad, India, to build and operate a secure, scalable data platform for analytics, operational services, and AI/ML products. The role owns Apache Iceberg lakehouse operations, CDC and batch/streaming ingestion pipelines, distributed compute and storage performance, data quality and lineage controls, versioned snapshots, data APIs, and GitOps/IaC deployments. Candidates need at least five years of experience in data infrastructure, platform engineering, or related backend roles, along with deep knowledge of Spark, lakehouse design, storage optimization, replication, CDC, SQL, data modelling, Python, and containerized application development.
