Description
Verifone is hiring a Data Platform Engineer to own and evolve a broad data platform spanning streaming pipelines, databases, on-premises and cloud infrastructure, and DevOps/SRE tooling. The role involves building and operating Kafka, ETL/ELT, batch, and streaming pipelines; managing Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Snowflake; automating infrastructure with Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes; and supporting AWS cloud operations, observability, security, and incident response. Candidates need at least five years of engineering experience across data, databases, and infrastructure, with production streaming and database operations experience. The role offers hybrid or remote flexibility, mentorship, certification support, and a path to senior and lead engineer levels.
