Description
The role designs and builds Field AI’s data platform, ingestion frameworks, SDKs, APIs, and services for robotics and fleet data. It handles intermittent connectivity, large sensor payloads, edge-to-cloud synchronization, backfills, schema contracts, reliability, monitoring, and pipeline performance across heterogeneous robot, fleet, simulation, and cloud sources. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field, 3–5+ years of data or backend engineering experience, Python and SQL, streaming and orchestration systems, modern data warehouses or lakehouses, cloud object storage, integrations, and data-quality practices.
