Twitch is hiring a Data Platform Software Engineer to build and operate reliable, scalable data technology, including data warehouses and pipelines, while improving existing tools and enhancing workflows with AI tooling. The role requires experience with AI-assisted development tools, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent software engineering experience, and familiarity with scalability, concurrency, API design, data modeling, and distributed systems. Preferred qualifications include Golang or Python, distributed highly available systems, AWS, and open-source contributions. The position is based in San Francisco or Seattle and offers a base salary of $127,100–$185,000 annually in San Francisco or $110,500–$160,000 annually in Seattle.
