CEA/Irfu is hiring a Data Processing/AI Engineer and Application in Particle Physics for a 24-month fixed-term professional staff contract in Gif-sur-Yvette, France. The role develops a foundation model for particle physics, including self-supervised learning on simulated and real LHC data, AI model architectures, data processing pipelines, and performance benchmarks. The engineer will work with physicists, scientific computing engineers, and machine learning researchers, using Python, PyTorch, HPC, and related tools; a PhD in computational physics, signal processing, AI, or a related field is required.
