CEA’s Irfu institute is hiring a Data Processing/Artificial Intelligence Engineer and Applications in Particle Physics for a 24-month fixed-term contract. The role develops foundation models and AI/ML approaches for the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider, including model design, self-supervised learning, data-processing pipelines, experiment-tracking tools, and performance benchmarks. The engineer will work with particle physicists, scientific computing engineers, and machine learning researchers in a multidisciplinary team, with responsibilities spanning model development, scientific documentation, and international presentations.
