Description

Odyssey is hiring a Data Program Manager to connect research, vendors, and the data flywheel. The role converts research data needs into scoped acquisition plans, manages vendors and human data teams, owns data-roadmap reviews and forecasts, tracks quality and throughput metrics, and coordinates data delivery with research and leadership. Candidates need at least five years of program or product management experience, including two years in AI, machine learning, or data-intensive work, along with SQL, data analysis, vendor negotiation, and cross-functional program experience. The role requires being in the office at least three times per week.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of program or product management at a technical company, including at least two years in AI, machine learning, or data-intensive work
Experience negotiating with external vendors and reducing costs
Experience driving cross-functional programs in fast-changing environments
Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a TPM or program manager at a frontier or applied research lab
Background in data labelling, human data collection, or RLHF programs at scale
Familiarity with AI evaluation methodology or rubric design
Experience as the first X hire at an early-stage company
