Description
Commvault is hiring a Principal Engineer for its Clumio backend team to serve as a senior technical leader across the data protection platform. The role combines deep hands-on engineering with broad architectural ownership, including defining long-term technical vision, designing distributed or cloud-native systems, making high-impact architectural decisions, leading complex initiatives through production rollout, and mentoring engineers. The engineer will work across multiple cloud environments and collaborate with engineering, cloud, quality, product, and customer success teams. The role requires at least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of complex production systems, and offers a hybrid work arrangement.
