Description
Alpaca is hiring a Data Risk Engineer to implement, operate, and tune Data Loss Prevention controls across SaaS, email, endpoints, and collaboration tools; triage DLP alerts; reduce false positives; respond to accidental data mishandling; and partner with People/HR, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and IT. The role also supports data classification, monitoring for unauthorized data movement, AI-related data risk, audits, and higher-severity Insider Risk investigations, with an expectation of growing into leading investigations end-to-end. The position requires at least three years of DLP, data protection, or adjacent security experience, hands-on SaaS or endpoint implementation experience, alert triage ability, and familiarity with SIEM, data classification, privacy frameworks, and regulated environments.
