Bloomberg is hiring a Data Risk Program Manager in New York to build and scale enterprise data risk management capabilities for its Chief Risk Office. The role will initially operate across the first and second lines of defense, partnering with engineering, data, product, CISO, CTO, and legal and compliance teams to establish data governance, classification, discovery, metadata management, and lineage capabilities. Responsibilities include defining frameworks and controls, overseeing first-line implementation, assessing data risk posture, developing metrics and reporting, translating regulatory expectations into controls, and serving as a subject matter expert. The position requires 5–8+ years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, hands-on data governance experience, and familiarity with governance tools and cloud platforms. The salary range is 130,000–180,000 USD annually plus benefits and bonus.
