The OECD WISE Data Development and Practical Application Unit is hiring a Data Science and Knowledge Expert to develop and maintain automated data pipelines, update the How’s Life? and Better Life Index databases, build and improve the OECD Well-being Data Observatory, create data visualizations, conduct well-being policy analysis, and provide training and knowledge sharing. The role requires an advanced university degree in economics, statistics, data science, or a related quantitative discipline, at least four years of relevant applied research or data science experience, strong R or comparable statistical programming skills, and knowledge of version control, web development, and data visualization. The position is based in Paris, France, with an application deadline of 30 September 2026 and an indefinite-term engagement starting from EUR 6,008.38 per month.
