Mercado Livre is hiring a Data Scientist to develop, deploy, and monitor analytical, predictive, and Generative Artificial Intelligence models for fraud prevention across e-commerce and financial services in Latin America. The role involves collaborating with internal and external partners, communicating model deployments, monitoring production performance, investigating anomalies, applying generative AI to low-prevalence high-impact scenarios, exploring structured and unstructured data, and presenting model results. Candidates need strong Data Science and Machine Learning knowledge, fraud-analysis experience, experience with tabular and unstructured data, generative AI experience, and experience deploying and monitoring models. The position offers a hybrid arrangement at the Osasco, São Paulo site.
