Emerson is hiring a Data Science Intern to develop Power BI dashboards, backlog forecasts, risk heat maps, surge-capacity models, and other data science tools for manufacturing supply-chain planning. The role involves statistical modeling, forecasting, visualization, data exploration, model validation, and collaboration with supply chain, operations, and engineering teams. It requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, zero related experience, full-time in-person work, and legal authorization to work in the United States; preferred qualifications include Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, SQL, statistical modeling, and manufacturing or supply-chain experience. The hourly pay is $24-$28, commensurate with the candidate’s year in school and experience.
