SCOR is hiring a Data Science Intern for a 10-week internship working with data scientists, data engineers, and actuaries on mortality risk quantification, insurance pricing, explainable and interpretable machine learning, and ML fairness. The intern will assist with training and interpreting models, conducting experiments, writing ML pipelines, understanding the financial impact of models, and presenting a final project. The role requires Python, probability, statistics, and/or machine learning coursework, and offers a hybrid arrangement with three office days and two remote days per week in Charlotte, with relocation assistance and health insurance.
