Description

Achievers is hiring a Data Scientist to research and develop AI/ML approaches that improve employee recognition and customer experience. The role focuses on building, deploying, and monitoring machine learning solutions integrated into software products, analyzing structured and unstructured data, collaborating with Product, Development, Data Engineering, Client Success, and Workforce Science teams, and using Python, SQL, cloud platforms, and version control in a hybrid Toronto-based environment. The position requires at least 3+ years of relevant experience, strong communication and software engineering skills, and offers a salary range of $108,000 to $150,000 plus benefits for permanent full-time employees.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Behavioural Science, or Mathematics preferred; PhD in a highly quantitative field is a bonus.
Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years of experience analyzing product data, building AI/ML algorithms, or delivering product-focused data science impact.
Experience deploying models to production with an engineering team.
Experience with cloud platforms and version control tools.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in HR/People Analytics or knowledge of Organizational Psychology.
Experience with social networks, recommender systems, or NLP applications.
Expertise in advanced ML methods such as time series analysis, hierarchical Bayes, decision trees, boosting, random forests, deep learning, and neural networks.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and data visualization communication skills.
