Amazon is hiring a Data Scientist for its NAS Shop and Keep (SHAKE) science team to analyze complex, heterogeneous datasets and develop scalable machine-learning solutions for fashion-related problems such as product recommendations, product discovery, customer segmentation, and return reduction. The role partners with applied scientists, data engineers, product managers, UX designers, and business partners, and requires at least three years of data-querying, scripting, or statistical software experience, two years of data scientist experience, three years of machine-learning or statistical-modeling experience, applied-theoretical-model experience, and a bachelor's degree. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of $136,000 to $184,000 annually.
