Description
Amgen is hiring a senior Data Scientist focused on Agentic AI and Scientific Systems. The role designs and integrates agent-based workflows, foundation and scientific models, retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge graphs, vector databases, APIs, and reusable AI capabilities to support protein engineering, structure prediction, disease biology, and target identification. The scientist will partner with scientific domain experts, data and platform engineering teams, and senior technical leaders to build, evaluate, and govern responsible AI systems while contributing to architectural decisions and mentoring junior team members.
