Azumo is hiring a fully remote Data Scientist to work across Latin America, aligned to client working days. The role owns the formulation of measurable business questions, selection and adaptation of supervised and unsupervised machine-learning methods, fine-tuning of pretrained models, experimental design, evaluation, error analysis, and handover of models to clients. It requires 5+ years of model-building and validation experience, Python, deep learning, statistics, cloud AI services, and strong communication skills; preferred qualifications include LLM evaluation, open-weight fine-tuning, multimodal work, causal inference, MLOps, and compliance experience.
