Description
The NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection is hiring a Data Scientist to support the Division of Technology and Strategic Solutions Reporting Team. The role involves developing analytic, policy, and planning strategies; conducting statistical and program-evaluation analysis; using GIS and geo-spatial data; supporting data-sharing and public-facing web tools; and using self-authored SQL to analyze large reporting databases. The position may be eligible for remote work up to two days per week and requires a master's degree in an appropriate field plus at least two years of relevant research experience.
