Description

Foxway is hiring a Data Scientist focused on pricing and business modelling for refurbished mobile devices. The role covers the full data science lifecycle, including machine learning and statistical model development, dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, competitor analysis, inventory and revenue optimisation, model validation, monitoring, production deployment, and stakeholder communication. Candidates need 2–5 years of applied data science or machine learning experience, production model lifecycle experience, Python and SQL proficiency, and a relevant quantitative degree or equivalent practical experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or a closely related applied modelling role
Experience designing and maintaining the lifecycle of machine learning models in production
Experience developing and maintaining models or analytical solutions beyond the initial prototype stage
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pricing, e-commerce, marketplaces, retail, recommerce, or another data-intensive commercial environment
Experience with pricing optimization, price elasticity, demand forecasting, inventory modelling, or revenue management
Experience with model monitoring, automated machine learning pipelines, or production machine learning systems
Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization such as Docker
Interest or experience in modern AI and large language model applications relevant to business problems
