The Data Scientist will shape Google Payments products by coordinating across functions, analyzing business, product, growth, acquisition, and operational metrics, and providing analytical leadership for identity and risk initiatives. The role involves end-to-end data analysis, measurement frameworks, driver trees, Gen AI-enabled data exploration and workflow automation, and high-impact projects influencing product roadmaps, engineering decisions, tracking systems, and control processes. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience, five years of analysis and coding experience, or two years with a master's degree; a master's degree and relevant experimentation or payments experience are preferred.
