Description
mobile.de is hiring a Data Scientist for its central Data Science team in Berlin. The role focuses on search, ranking, recommendation, personalization, and generative AI, including LLM-based search, conversational interfaces, RAG pipelines, and AI-generated content. The Data Scientist will own end-to-end initiatives from prototyping through production deployment, monitor performance, analyze large datasets, build proof-of-concepts, and collaborate with product, design, engineering, and other data science teams. The position requires an MSc or Ph.D. in a relevant field, at least two years of machine learning experience, generative AI and RAG expertise, Python and database skills, cloud deployment experience, and strong communication abilities. The role is hybrid, with in-person presence expected once or twice weekly or as required.
