The role owns data models, marts, pipelines, warehouse architecture, permissions, performance, cost, data quality, documentation, lineage, access controls, privacy, and AI-readable metadata. It requires 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, data science, or a closely related role, along with deep SQL, dbt, dimensional modeling, pipeline, warehouse, governance, and stakeholder-management skills.
