TIH is hiring a Data Scientist to collect, analyse, report, and interpret data for business strategy, profitability, and client and stakeholder relationships. The role builds predictive and machine-learning models, performs statistical analysis and data mining, prepares analytics reports, identifies business requirements, manages data and analytics projects, and supports stakeholder engagement. It requires a Grade 12 or SAQA-accredited equivalent, a three-year degree in a relevant quantitative or information technology field, and 3 to 5 years of experience in an analytical, data science, or computer science environment; experience in a financial insurance environment is advantageous.
