SAIC is hiring a Data Scientist to support the National Reconnaissance Office's Ground Enterprise Directorate in Chantilly, Virginia. The role focuses on designing and managing data sets, integrating complex data, evaluating data quality, preparing data for predictive modeling, testing and validating operational platforms, documenting processes and specifications, and advising leadership on mission impact, model risk, and data-informed tradeoffs. The position requires a bachelor's degree with five or more years of experience, a master's degree with three or more years, or a PhD with no related experience; relevant experience may substitute for the degree. It also requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph, software engineering experience in IC, DoD, or commercial space architectures, and hands-on experience with data analytics, machine learning, statistical methods, and artificial intelligence.
