Description
Sonatype is hiring a Data Scientist to serve as an internal AI consultant and technical lead for its AI and Data Science team. The role leads applied machine learning and generative AI projects, including malicious-behavior and anomaly detection, fraud analysis, and developer-facing GenAI experiences. Responsibilities include designing experiments, evaluating models, translating research into scalable APIs and workflows, advising product, engineering, security, and research teams, and mentoring peers. The position requires at least five years of applied data science, machine learning, AI engineering, or AI research experience, strong Python and LLM application skills, and experience building ML or GenAI systems.
