THG Ingenuity is hiring a Data Scientist to protect global e-commerce operations from fraud, optimise payments performance, and drive profitability and automation across Finance. The role involves improving machine-learning-based fraud detection, increasing payment authorisation rates, reducing transaction costs, reporting performance to stakeholders, and collaborating with engineering and business teams to improve detection systems and data pipelines. Candidates should be proficient in SQL and Python, experienced with machine learning algorithms, comfortable with data visualisation tools, and able to communicate data insights to drive business change; Google Cloud experience is preferred.
