The role focuses on advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to improve water utility operations, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure performance. Responsibilities include collecting and processing large datasets, building data pipelines, developing predictive models for forecasting and optimization, creating dashboards and reports, monitoring model performance, and researching new data science approaches. The position requires at least a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, 1+ year of machine learning/data science project experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data libraries.
