Description
The Data Scientist will join the Professional Services Procurement Office and VDOT PSPO team, collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, identifying trends, mining data, building complex data sets and pipelines, and communicating recommendations to business and IT leaders. The role requires procurement experience, preferably professional services procurement, along with expertise in machine learning, predictive analytics, data mining, and public procurement systems. The position uses SQL, Python, PySpark, shell scripting, data visualization tools, cloud platforms, and statistical databases.
