Zopa is hiring a Data Scientist for its Data Science team, which focuses on consumer credit, risk, value, and outcomes modelling. The role involves translating ambiguous credit-related questions into models and analysis, building and maintaining classification and regression solutions, collaborating with Credit Strategy, Product, and Engineering, and communicating technical decisions to stakeholders. Candidates need hands-on data science experience, Python and Git, statistical-learning and machine-learning knowledge, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The position is hybrid, requiring attendance at the London office two to three days per week, with an option to work from abroad for up to 120 days per year subject to work-rights.
