The Data Scientist, DIA Capabilities and Requirements supports the Command Element by developing advanced analytics, requirements-management frameworks, quality-assurance protocols, and AI workflows. The role analyzes complex datasets, identifies capability gaps, creates data models and dashboards, validates model outputs, and implements explainable and auditable AI systems. It requires cross-functional collaboration, strong communication, mentoring, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant STEM field.
