Description

Shift is hiring a Data Scientist to build and productionize data pipelines and LLM-based solutions for insurance subrogation, claims handling, document understanding, and related use cases. The role involves developing agentic AI systems, prompt and tool strategies, evaluation frameworks, responsible-AI practices, and client-facing workshops. Candidates should have strong object-oriented programming, LLM and generative-AI, machine-learning, data-pipeline, and agentic-framework experience, with Databricks, Mosaic AI, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Spark, and MLflow expertise highly desired. The position offers flexible remote and hybrid working options and a base salary of $100,000–$110,000 USD.
