Esri is hiring a Data Scientist to work directly with customers across diverse industries, translating business problems into machine learning and advanced analytics solutions. The role involves building analytics systems, processing big and streaming data, performing feature engineering and model optimization, deploying models in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments, and developing reusable geospatial machine learning components. Candidates need at least one year of similar professional experience, practical machine learning experience, relevant generative AI or agentic systems experience, applied statistics and Python experience, strong communication skills, US citizenship, and a bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field. The position is onsite in the St. Louis, Missouri area, with relocation assistance available, and offers a base salary of $70,304 to $110,240 USD.
