Description
The Data Scientist II will own the end-to-end machine learning and optimization delivery cycle for Amazon's middle-miles planning decisions, including forecasting, network and capacity optimization, GenAI and agentic systems, defect prevention, and adaptive planning. The role covers problem framing, data exploration, feature engineering, model training and validation, deployment, monitoring, performance metrics, and productionization with Data Engineering and Software Development. It requires a STEM master's degree, at least two years of experience with data querying, scripting, or statistical software, and experience with AWS services and machine learning techniques. The position is based in Bellevue, Washington, with a base salary of $136,000 to $184,000 annually.
