Description
Meta is hiring an experienced Data Scientist to improve planning, utilization, and return on investment for large-scale infrastructure. The role develops analytical models and decision frameworks linking utilization, demand, performance, cost, and capacity data to multi-year capacity plans and investment decisions. It partners with Infrastructure Planning, Capacity Engineering, Operations, Data Science, Finance, and Product Finance, translates complex analysis into executive recommendations, and owns model validation, documentation, auditability, and reproducibility. The position requires a related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 10+ years of relevant analysis and data-science experience, SQL and Python, and experience with scenario modeling, forecasting, and capital-allocation trade-offs.
