Description
Trekor Metals Limited is hiring a full-time Data Scientist, Technical Services for the Gibraltar Mine in McLeese Lake, British Columbia. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, Process Control, the role supports and expands site data-science capabilities for mining and milling operations by training and maintaining machine-learning models, performing exploratory and correlation analyses, engineering features, building secure automated data pipelines, developing Python-based tools, and creating visualizations and KPI reports. The position requires a degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, engineering, or a related field, advanced Python and data-science proficiency, basic SQL and machine-learning interpretability skills, and strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities. Mining or industrial production experience and MLOps-related tooling are assets. Compensation is CAD 102,700–128,300 annually, with health, dental, disability insurance, and RRSP matching benefits.
