Microsoft is hiring a Data Security Solution Engineer for its German team to win technical decisions for Microsoft Purview and adjacent data-security solutions. The role advises customers on EU and German regulatory requirements, translates legal and compliance obligations into technical controls and architectures, leads demonstrations and architecture sessions, manages proof of concepts, and coordinates with partners and other teams throughout the sales cycle. Candidates need significant technical pre-sales or consulting experience, strong English and German communication skills, and knowledge of data-security and privacy regulations; the typical base pay range in Germany is €81,500 to €139,200 per year, with at least two days per week recommended in the office or at a customer site.
