Microsoft is hiring a Data Security Solutions Engineer to act as a customer-facing technical advisor to CISOs, IT leaders, and security teams. The role owns the technical strategy for data security transformation, delivers demonstrations, workshops, solution presentations, and proof-of-concepts, and guides customers through Microsoft Purview and related security solutions. Responsibilities include translating complex security requirements into practical solutions, removing technical blockers, managing risks and dependencies, and coordinating with account teams, engineering, support, and partners. The role requires experience in technical sales, solution engineering, pre-sales, or consulting, data security or governance, Microsoft Purview, and customer-facing technical demonstrations, along with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience and fluency in English and Danish.
