Description
The Data Semantics Architect supports enterprise data management by developing taxonomies, ontologies, semantic models, data tagging strategies, and metadata frameworks that improve data discoverability, interoperability, governance, and access control. The role leads analysis of alternatives, evaluates semantic technologies and standards, and partners with data governance, security, and engineering teams to support ICD 504, Zero Trust, and data-centric security objectives. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 16 years of experience in enterprise data management, metadata governance, taxonomy and ontology development, and related initiatives within Federal, DoD, or Intelligence Community environments. The salary range is $220,000–$250,000, with employee healthcare premiums paid in full and other benefits listed.
