Apple’s Wallets, Payments and Commerce Engineering team is hiring a Data Services Engineer to architect, scale, and operate high-performance data infrastructure across AWS, Ali Cloud, and internal platforms. The role focuses on relational, NoSQL, streaming, and search services, including observability, metrics, infrastructure automation, containerized database operations, and high-availability and disaster-recovery strategies. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, at least five years of distributed data-platform experience, and strong expertise in multi-cloud, database internals, Python, Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane, and Kubernetes.
