Description
Apple is hiring an experienced Data Systems Engineering Manager to build and lead its Databases SRE organization in Shanghai. The role manages a team of Site Reliability Engineers responsible for the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical data platforms including Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, Apache Solr, Redis/Valkey, etcd, and coordination services. The manager will set technical direction for automation and scaling, lead incident response and SRE practices, manage on-call coverage, partner with software and platform teams, and establish credibility with internal customers across a geographically distributed organization.
