Description
The Data Services Technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs telecommunications services, voice and data circuits, copper and fiber cabling, carrier systems, wireless equipment, and related customer-premise and field equipment. The role works under a Plant Supervisor, coordinates service installations and records, monitors alarm systems, and participates in an on-call rotation for evening and weekend emergency response. It requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of telecommunications data services experience, and a valid driver’s license; outdoor field work, travel, and physical demands are expected.
