G-Research is hiring an engineer for its Data Serving Platform team in London. The role involves designing and evolving production-grade trading platforms and data-serving services, optimizing performance and throughput at scale, supporting reliability and incident response, and applying strong testing, automation, observability, and code-quality practices. Candidates need strong competency in a typed language such as Java, C#, or C++ and experience optimizing software performance; distributed systems and data-serving experience plus Rust, Python, Parquet, Arrow, Delta Lake, or Kubernetes are desirable.
