Description
The Data Engineer will optimize and evolve production data pipelines for a SaaS data/AI solution serving retail loyalty programs, using Python or Scala, Spark, BigQuery, and GCP. The role serves as a technical point of contact for Customer Success and clients, diagnoses pipeline incidents, and collaborates with Product and Data Science teams. It requires 3 to 8 years of data engineering experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to explain technical topics accessibly; retail experience is a plus. The position includes interviews with the Chief AI Officer, data team managers, and the founding team.
