Description
Morrisons is hiring a Mid-Level DevOps Data Engineer to manage its Google Cloud Platform data environment and advance DevOps practices. The role is split between infrastructure automation and data pipeline development, involving Terraform provisioning of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, and compute resources; ETL/ELT pipeline development; Jenkins CI/CD; BigQuery schema and performance optimization for Looker; and Cloud Monitoring and Logging. The position requires 3–5 years of combined DevOps and Data Engineering experience, production GCP experience, and proficiency in Terraform, SQL, and Python, with a hybrid work model requiring three days per week at the head office.
