Description

The Data Warehouse Subject Matter Expert provides senior-level technical leadership for enterprise SQL Server data warehouse environments, including architecture, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, reporting, analytics, and performance optimization. The role requires extensive database and SQL Server experience, familiarity with large-scale data volumes, Agile delivery, Microsoft data tools, Python, R, and cloud services, and a Secret Clearance. It is 100% on-site at DEA offices in Merrifield and Arlington, Virginia, and other government-designated offices.

Required Previous Experiences: 15+ years of total database experience
12+ years of SQL Server experience
Experience with SQL Server databases of at least 5 TB and a billion total rows of data
5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies
3+ years of experience with Microsoft data tools, Python, R, and cloud services
3+ years of experience performing dimensional analysis in a Kimball-style enterprise data warehouse with at least 500 tables and a billion rows of data
