Description
August Schell is hiring a fully remote Database Administrator to manage, maintain, secure, and optimize databases. The role includes installing and configuring databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL; monitoring performance; backing up and recovering data; managing access and security; troubleshooting issues; applying upgrades and patches; and maintaining data integrity. Candidates should have SQL knowledge, database design and modeling experience, performance-tuning and indexing experience, familiarity with cloud platforms, and knowledge of backup, security, and disaster-recovery practices. An active TS clearance is required, while a Q clearance and bachelor’s degree are preferred; compensation is $50,000 to $155,000 per year.
