The Database Administrator will manage and maintain on-premise and cloud database environments, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL; support Oracle WebLogic Middleware; lead migrations from legacy systems to SaaS or IaaS; handle backups, disaster recovery, performance tuning, security, patching, application deployments, and troubleshooting. The role is based at AAR’s Corporate Headquarters in Wood Dale, Illinois, with a planned relocation to the Merchandise Mart in Chicago in early 2027. Candidates need strong database administration skills, technical writing ability, and either a related bachelor’s degree or five years of experience; the position offers a base salary of $110,000 to $130,000 annually plus a 10% bonus and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
