Description
Gildan is hiring a Database Administrator to oversee the availability, performance, security, and lifecycle of its global multi-platform database ecosystem across Oracle, SQL Server, and cloud solutions such as Azure and Snowflake. The role includes troubleshooting bottlenecks, supporting database design and SQL development, managing changes and security, maintaining disaster recovery and documentation, and providing technical support to internal clients. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, 7–10 years of production database administration experience, strong Oracle and SQL Server expertise, familiarity with enterprise cloud databases, and willingness to work a rotational on-call schedule supporting a 24/7 global operation.
